Introducing…the Yahoo! Groups Team
Following my email from Monday, What’s in store for Yahoo! Groups, I thought it’d be a great time to introduce you to the dedicated and hard working team behind the Groups product (at least those we could pull out of meetings).

Over the next few weeks, I’ll spotlight the smaller teams that make up the larger Yahoo! Groups team here on the blog and highlight what each of these teams does (much like I did with the Groups Operations team in the recent Groups podcast).
You’ll have an opportunity to ask the each team questions related to their area of focus within Groups and get a sneak peek at what they’re working on. I look forward to having the opportunity to introduce you to other members of the Groups team, because I am sure you get tired of always hearing from me!
Best,
Jami

You guys are really wonderful.
You’re great, you’re really doing a good job.
I’ve heard of YAHOO GROUP for long but just decided to start using it now.

Get rid of the ‘people/relationships’ groups………..there’s nothing but web cam girls………total trash. I would think YAHOO would not want to allow this.

Correction the ROMANCE/RELATIONSHIPS category.

I’ve been using Groups since the earliest days of egroups. Groups has had it’s ups and downs, and there have been moments of terror, like when Yahoo! first acquired egroups. There were some rough spots when Yahoo! tried to fool with the formula and take features away. But now I’m pleased to say Yahoo! has made mostly good decisions and the current state of Groups is very good. All the archives are available and accessible with a very good search tool. The advertising, while heavy, is not egregious. Stuff pretty-much “Just Works”. For an ad-supported service, one can’t ask more. Thanks.

I am a mother of two young babies. My daughter turns a year on Sept. 12 and I just had my baby boy on Aug.1. One week befor he was born my washer broke and I cant afford another one. If anyone out there happens to know of a washer to be donated I could sure use one with two babies that are only ten and a half months appart. I live in the South Salt Lake area off of 3rd east and 29th south. Thanks.

Welcome To Your New Business
Hi
I want to congratulate you on making a very smart decision regarding your future career. I’m confidant you’ll soon discover, as I did, that Best flamingo travel agency is the right company for you. As a business affiliate with Best flamingo travel agency you have the right support system, the right product line, and the right compensation plan you need to grow your business.
I hope that you won’t hesitate to contact me when you have a question or a challenge I can help you with. Beginning a new business venture can sometimes be intimidating. But like most challenges, if you tackle the project one small step at a time, you’ll discover that it’s easier than you thought!
One of the first things you can do to give yourself the best advantage as a Best flamingo travel agency associate is to get very familiar with the entire product line. Go to http://www.bestflamingotravel.com and read everything you find there. And remember, the best marketer is someone who owns and uses the products! When you tell people about your new business your enthusiasm will make a bigger impression than any fact or information you can share. Emotion sells. Emotion sells. Emotion sells. Most of us think we make our purchasing decisions based on facts. And facts do play a part—that’s why
I’m telling you to educate yourself on our products. But in reality, we usually make our purchasing decisions based on how we FEEL about the product or service. That’s where your enthusiasm will care the day.
Most importantly, take advantage of the company conference calls! These calls are your #1 way to get informed, get pumped, and get primed for success. So get on the phone and call 510-749-4872, 08/16/08 I look forward to hearing good things from you!
Sincerely,
Jenny
