Some messages have been delayed (possibly as many as five days) due to an outage on one of our mail machines. We are in the process of sending out the delayed messages and expect to catch up in the next few days. You do not have to resend any messages.

Looks like Yahoo needs to invest in a better UI and an improved engineering/design team. Before copying Facebook, you need to focus on fixing all the existing issues, addressing important stuff like what happens when the owner of a gorup dies, etc…once you get the current version fixed and bug free, then you can focus on the new tasks at hand.
Well, my patience has run out. Yahoo used to be reasonably simple & reasonably reliable. That was a decade ago. I’ve managed a dozen lists in the last 15 years and persuaded several community groups to use it. I’ve just had the miserable experience of accounting to a community meeting for Yahoo’s non-distribution of a critical meeting document. I will move my lists elsewhere as soon as I can.

In my group “ejoke” messages are going out and appearing on the web page but DAILY digests have stopped. One digest appeared after 5 days with 26 messages.. one more than 25 limit. Something is seriously wrong.

Sun, Oct 3. My group just got a message that was sent 7 days ago, on Sun, Sept 25 (about an event on that day). Hopefully the messages are flowing OK now.
Do your technical problems also cause all comments to look silly, misspelled, and nonsensical

As of October 2nd, 8 am Central time, seems like the problem is reappearing. I have sent several messages to my group, and none have appeared. Can I get conformation that groups is having issues again?
I’ve been noticing delays as well, for a while now. In fact, I received a message just this morning that was sent on sept 23rd…. over a week ago! It’s good to know Yahoo is aware of this & working on it, so I hope it’s resolved soon!
I wonder why a search engine company has problems with even searching messages within a group!
The non-functioning of search in group is not only a bad name for yahoo groups but also to yahoo as a whole since yahoo started mainly as a popular search engine (even though almost none uses it now a days)
I’m wondering WHEN the message search function will actually function again. Is anyone working on this problem? I have an informational group and search of the archives is essential for my membership (760 people). thanks!

Yes, this same thing happened earlier in the month and is happening again. I sent an email to our neighborhood group and it comes also to me in another account, but when I’ve looked now four different times it hasn’t shown up. If anyone else from the nogli group is having problems send info to google. Thanks

i contacted yahoo customer care about this problem on september 24 and here is the answer i got
their answer was wrong because they answer me all my mails approved were appearing in my group message page, but still today i receive mails approved from 5 or 6 days ago !
it would be better that customer care don’t send machines answers when we mail them, and take time to verify what we say
i am not a novice i only mail yahoo customer care when i know it’s a bug
