As many of you know, we hosted our third ever Groups Moderator Town Hall event in the Dallas area in early March.
At these events, we give local moderators an opportunity to come together to meet and exchange ideas with other Groups owners and moderators in their area, meet members of the Yahoo! Groups team, and ask direct questions of the team in a panel discussion. The feedback and suggestions we hear at these events provides the team with yet another avenue to identify opportunities to make improvements to the Yahoo! Groups product.

At the end of this post (below my signature), you’ll also find a podcast highlighting portions of our very first Groups Moderator Town Hall event held on the Yahoo! Campus in Sunnyvale last October. In this podcast you can hear opening remarks delivered by Brad Garlinghouse, SVP of Communications & Communities (which includes Yahoo! Groups, Yahoo! Mail, Yahoo! Messenger, and Flickr), followed by some fun trivia with Mike Speiser, VP of Yahoo! Communities, and a portion of a testimonial given by the owner of the FlyLadyMentors group and FlyLady herself, Marla Cilley.

We’re planning the next Groups Moderator Town Hall in the Atlanta, Georgia area in May. I’m not a professional, and probably should not even have access to this, but I was disturbed, intrigued and saddened by this woman’s words. I even wonder if it was a gag, contrived to present (and make fun of?) a terrible state of mind. If it is true, I certainly hope the poor woman is receiving the help she needs. Any professional opinions?
I suffered a severe neck and head injuries from a violent attack on 7-8-2006 at 5:00 am. My ex husband Jeffrey Lombard, whom I was introduced to by my ex-Husband “David James Kenny’s” sister Barbara whom I’ve know since I was 14 yrs old and always trusted but hadn’t heard from until shortly after filing a modification for emergency custody. Barbara stated she was estraged from her entire family due to the fact she moved in an extremely verbally andphysically boyfriend who she met in a bar in Haverhill, Ma, which inevitably lead to her losing her three children. I was in the mist of a heated custody battle in which I was winning even though my ex-husband David Kenny, Barbara’s brother who is is is a multi-millionaire, whom had a very pricey Atty. David was soliciting my then 14 yr old daughter on a Gothic web site, even paid for a premium membership @ http://www.vampirefreaks.com, which is everything a parent should not incite a young girl who is nieve enough to post her full name, D.O.B, address including town, state, name of school, yr of graduation, which lead to many sexual predetors who wanted nude photo’s, made arrangements to meet with several known to law enforcement as known suspects. Only way I found out is because my daughter gave her friend the screen name to chat with a known sex offeder. Of course David lied and boldly stated that he knew all about it and my daughter used her “good judgement and blocked him immediatly” which never made sense to me, police, parents.. David Kenny has not worked in over two decades and has major ties to the irish mafia as well as his organized shoplifting crime ring on Ebay.com. His seller name is ” ( possibly lower case ) I’m trying to make a long and complicated case of conspiracy for murder for hire. Anyway I was in serious condition and treated for shock from massive blood loss. Doctors cancelled med flight to Boston because they couldn’t stabelize me and believed I was going to die and did. I crashed at Lawrence General Hospital, Lawrence, MA. David wouldn’t allow my daughter to call ICU on his home phone, telling her she needed to call on his friends cell phone, also told her he couldn’t bring her to visit because he was “too afraid to look at me” and also was aware that I was being interviewed by detectives as soon as I was well enough for visitors. I will never forget my youngest daughter who David won custody of because days before the finall custody hearing as David’s Atty words it that Ms. Kenny Lombard’s life suddenly took a bizzare and tragic terrible turn for the wose and was attacked and I am not unsympathetic for Ms. Kenny Lombard however she is’t able to care for her daughter because of her injuries ( Brain, spinal cord, neck inc. ruptured disc). My own sister robbed me and trashed my apt., changed locks on landlord and myself, stole $4500.00 cash, $ 30,000.00 in valuables and left me homeless and living in shelters. My sister who has always fo some apparent reason pretended to be my friend then robs me, my parents and always is never held responsible. the horrible part is my own sister took the stand for the man who tried to murder me and without her testimony weighing heavy on the jurors he’d be doing natural life in Walpole, Ma. As for David, Detectives still question him but apparently havn’t enough evidece to indict him. Plus he’s known to bribe cops, or give generous donations. I suffer every day in pain, lost everthing, no car, and can never make ends meet and have been in and out of homeless shelters. So much for Johnathan Blodgets victim witness advocates who never ever helped me with the plastic surgery for my scarred face and neck. As for my hired attacker, his family took out a huge donation which raised hundreds of thousands for his defense, perhaps David Kenny also played a major role??? That’s my guess because somethin motivated the biggest known snitch not to sing, my guess is David paid my sister to destroy damaging evidence at our home as well as her commiting purgery for an attempted murderer who incidently is dating a young lady who has a approx 3 yr old little baby girl and it is only a matter of time before history repeats itself. Paid or not I was begging for my life as he grabed me behind my neck and coldly cut my throat and caratoid artery three times just to insure I would die. I may be homeless soon but I know God was and is always watching over me even though I have very little I survived. Neurosurgeons told my there’s no medical explanation “ONLY GOD”

I need to ask you some questions, how do I do that and where do I get the answers?
Here is one of the questions in case you can answer it with this…..
When I forward a message that has pictures in it, when it gets to the person I forwarded it to, the pictures are in the message like they are suppose to be, but there is also a copy of each one attached to the email also. So if I send a email thast has 5 embedded pictures in it, the receiver gets 10 pictures (5 embedded and 5 copies attached). Can you tell me how to make it stop sending the attached copies?

I set up a yahoo group but I am helping another person who will be the moderator. Where can I change the moderator info/email so the other person starts getting moderator requests for membership in the group?
