Yahoo! Mail UK Delivery Issues
UPDATE (7/02 3:30 pm PDT; 10:30 pm GMT): The problem has now been resolved and all Mail UK users should now be receiving messages from Yahoo! Groups normally, including the backlog of messages that had not been delivered earlier (if you are still having delivery issues, please contact Mail Customer Care). Our apologies for the inconvience.
We’re aware of the reports from Yahoo! Mail UK users that they are not receiving messages from their Yahoo! Groups and both the Groups and Mail engineering teams are investigating the problem. Will update this blog post with more info as we have it.

I haven’t received any emails from Monday evening this week so I was hoping someone could send an email to tell people that there is a problem. I have tried sending a form with details but it bounced back!
Please could you let us know when we will expect our emails back.
I would be grateful for guidance to this blog on our local groups for future reference.

It only seems to be affecting mail from the groups.
Im not having any problems receiving other mail from my yahoo id’s, just from groups. I can send to / from my yahoo id’s and to / from other e-mail addresses, so its not an issue with any ofmy mail accounts.

I haven’t gotten any group mail either since Tuesday. Other mail is coming in but no groups. I really hope it is sorted very soon.

Members on Freeshare are reporting the same problem of not receiving emails from the groups.

Same problem affecting Belfast Freecycle – not restricted to Yahoo email addresses, is affecting any email, and seems to be growing. Help!!!!

I’m in Canada and it seems Yahoogroups just stop sending messages. Very frustrating for this to start occuring again

I am in the US and groups just went all funky no messages going through what so ever. Is there an estimated time on when the backlog will be clearing up and when messages will be going through? Very aggravating for this to be happening again after the issue was supposed to be fixed a while ago.

I haven’t seen a anything in my groups in hours and i’ve sent out a number things and they have yet to show up. Can we get an update to what is going on please.

I’m also in the States. I just sent something thru ten minutes ago and nothing has come thru to my email from Groups yet, which when it’s working properly, is highly unusual. It’s lucky I have my sent feature set on my YMail otherwise I would have lost a 48k message. Obviously there’s still an issue or still a backlog?

Re UPDATE 2 July, 10:30 pm GMT. You say it’s fixed, but it’s NOT. New emails are now arriving. But there is no sign of the backlog of missing messages from the past three days. It’s now 14 hours after you said it was fixed. There must be a problem still.

We got banned from a group for complaining about all the “Copyrighted” material that kept flooding our e-mail box. We figured this was “ILLEGAL”, but considering where most of it all comes from….other countries, who by the way, don’t know and never will know anything about AMERICAN LAWS, we guess its normal

This outfit is hardly worth wasting time on. After a period of non results and no action on complaints, I’m folding my tent and moving on. Maybe if enough of us did the same this bunch of no-hopers might get the message.

I hope this is due to all of the spam we are getting!! I couldn’t tell you how many times a week that I am getting multiple emails from these people each different but much alike wanting my info for fake funds!!! I actually got scammed 1 time back in 2005 before I knew better-boy did I learn my lesson!!!!!

I am having massive problems transmitting messages and pix to America over the last 36 hours. If I knew it was a system problem I would go back to ‘pigeon post’. snail-mail, or even Town Crier!
It is a serious problem and I, for one, am losing faith!
