Well, if the updates aren’t happening until Monday, why are all my groups screwed up today (and yesterday too) … Friday and Saturday. Friday and Saturday are my busiest days for moderating messages that HAVE to go to the group members on the day they are posted. For the past two days … NOTHING can be done. And, can you please stop with the ads on the pages where moderators review and edit messages? It just slows everything down, and if I don’t wait for the damn ads to load, the page times out completely so that I have to close IE, reopen, go to Groups, go to the correct group, go to pending messages, and start all over again. I know that this is a free service, but enough with all the excessive ads already. I pay for Mail Plus so I don’t have to deal with the ads in my email … it would be nice if this could be extended to other Yahoo services as well (for the same price!). I don’t click on banner ads (or any ads for that matter), so Yahoo will never get ad revenue directly from me. Enough already.

Just curious as to why you don’t do this during the night when the fewest people will be impacted instead of when the most people will be impacted??
---------------------------------------------------------------
even if they do this maintenance at night , it will be morning at the other side of the planet that's what they want to inform us that there will be a slight glitch. Are you thinking?

I sincerely hope Yahoo! will NOT implement a policy of deleting groups which have only 1 member.
-
As I have done in the past, many people use a Yahoo! group as a reference
point for factual information which can be accessed by anyone, member or
non-member. The organisation into "Files" and "Photos" sections, plus the
ability of the group owner to post informative messages to accompany an
update of information, works better in a Yahoo! group context than in many
other alternatives (blogs, hosted sites, social networks etc).
-
Just my 2¢ worth.

@Bill Cortner,
This bug should be fixed later today-- it popped up today and the team has worked to resolve it and a push should be out this evening.

Sorry for the temporary inconvenience.

In addition to the HOME-PAGE PHOTO UPLOAD GLITCH,
I’d like to report another problem… Horrendously SLOW PAGE-LOADS.
It’s not my computer because I’ve tried both of my systems…
One is hi-speed DSL, the other is hi-speed cable and all of the other
sites I visit load instantly… One thing I’ve noticed is that those buggy,
rectangular-shaped, animated things at the top of the pages are
causing more problems than usual, which is saying something!
Presently, these energy-stealing data-vampires seem to be
sucking-off what little server speed/capability is even available.
Any idea when Yahoo Groups servers will be running at proper speed?

First I was user of google groups.

I used Google groups for many months. But I was unable to get members from traffic.
But then I tried to have a group on yahoo. And really it is nice and superb.

So, finally I decided to permanently join yahoo groups.
