When i am in a group how do i show that i am online? is there a way to set up an automatic setting? How do i post my name under my user name?

for over two weeks now Yahoo keeps losing posts if they do manage do show up in the messages it could be anywhere from 30 minutes to 20 hours later.
this is a constant reoccurring problem that yahoo seems to have no clue how to fix(they dont even care phone support wise)
