Groups Moderator Town Hall events
Thanks to all of the moderators who joined us at one of our Groups Moderator Town Hall events held in various geographical locations across the nation in 2008! 
At these events, we give local moderators an opportunity to come together to meet and exchange ideas with other Groups owners and moderators in their area, meet members of the Yahoo! Groups team, and ask direct questions of the team in a panel discussion. The feedback and suggestions we hear at these events provide the team with yet another avenue to understand the needs of our moderators and identify opportunities to make the Yahoo! Groups product even better.

Who would I contact if I had an issue in a group. I tried to contact the right people but the moderator was in on the abuse and booted ne from the site. I have since started my own but these people need to be stopped it is not what this group should be about.

So did you guys talk about how annoying it is when a group moderator changes the members’ message settings? I’m in one group where the mod continuously changes my settings from web only to special notices, and trust me, her notices are NOT that special. No reason I couldn’t read them on the web, they’re not emergencies. I would get her tossed out for it but no one at Yahoo has ever even answered my question about whether her rude behavior is legit or not . . .
