Delays with Groups Mail Processing
Update: 8/11 12:41 PM PT – This issue has been fully resolved. Messages sent while we were experiencing the issue are now being pushed through (and no messages should have been lost). Thank you for your patience!
We are currently experiencing Groups mail processing delays. We are working to isolate the cause of this issue and will post updates as we make progress.

Moderating a group and approved some posts this afternoon… all three of those posts after approval by me, did not post to the group, or the home page..that was a few hours ago… they’ve disappeared and have not resurfaced…..is there currently a problem with Yaqhoo groups postings?

Terrific – we have not seen a post since 10 this morning and I’ve tried posting from my email as well as from inside the group page and nothing is posting. I can’t even get a message to the moderator email.

Thank you for keeping us informed and getting this problem fixed so fast. The messages are now coming through to the groups I have. My email has yet to catch up regarding approved memberships and pending messages yet though. Hopefully this will be rectified soon too.

i wrote to yahoo group customer about this subject, explaining i was a group owner and we face problem in the delai of mails delivery
here is the non sense answer i received
i think they don’t read our request, and are not aware at all of anything happening to yahoo groups
they answer me as if a member post a mail to a group and it’s not already accepted !

I don’t believe this issue has been resolved completely. Many of the groups I’m a member of are still experiencing delays.

It’s 1am, 8/12/08 and some of my emails did not get posted today in my group, so there are still delays and emails being lost in cyberspace.
I also can’t open Yahoo Groups nor sign in at this writing.
I can do so on AOL, but not on Firefox nor IE.
It’s bizarre.

While we did see a bit of slowing, it’s not far off the “norm”. What we did experience (and still are) is that since our dsl provider is tied to yahoo servers, our personal mail isn’t coming through since the time of your announcement yesterday (and still isn’t). Group and junk mail continue as before.

Hi,
I have been trying to get into the Paper Embroidery group for 2 weeks and the permission is sstill pending. Is there more to do or is it the fault of the communications. I noticed that they have they have changed the card that is pictured when the group site does come up.

I have not recieved any posts nor have mine been posted since last Wednesday!!!! I am not recieving any FREECYCLE PICKERING postings at all for almost a week….but FREECYCLE Scarborough and Durham are still running with postings all throughout the day?? Hopefully service will be resumed soon.

If the problem , shouldn’t someone from the group, like the leader be contactin the pending member and answering the member’s emails????? I cannot see how the Yahoo groups can even operate and call themselves a good place to make contacts and join.

Many of the groups, that I am a co-owner or just a member, are experiencing delays in e-mail delivery. Yahoo is not answering their complaints.
What is going on? Seems like the whole system, is messed up and getting no help.

this is going to be off topic however, I subscribed to notices and when I go to the page to manage that and unsub, all I ever get is this “You may not access this page without a valid key.”
